Peter P. Sotolongo, Esq. is the founder of Sotolongo Law. He focuses his practice on Admiralty and Maritime law, Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice. Mr. Sotolongo attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, where he obtained his Bachelors' degree in Criminal Justice. Thereafter, he moved to Miami, Florida where he worked as a Bailiff in the Miami-Dade County Courthouse, Circuit Civil Division for four years. During this time, Mr. Sotolongo had the privilege of observing hundreds of trials. Realizing this was his calling, Mr. Sotolongo attended Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 2002. A native of Cuba, Mr. Sotolongo migrated to the United States in 1980 with his family at age nine. Mr. Sotolongo enjoys living a healthy lifestyle, reading and helping those in need. Mr. Sotolongo is admitted to practice by The Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.

Sugouri S. Batra, Esq. is the newest addition to the firm, joining in 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami in 2013, majoring in psychology with a minor in biology and theatre arts. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 2016. In law school, her studies focused on intellectual property. Sugouri was among the few students chosen to participate in the University of Miami Startup Law Practicum, where she drafted corporate contract provisions and helped startups protect their intellectual property. Before joining Sotolongo Law, Sugouri interned at The Social Media Law Firm, where she assisted a wide variety of private clients with social media law related issues.
Sugouri was born in Queens, NY to Indian parents. Besides her passion for science and technology, Sugouri loves Bollywood. She is fluent in hindi, urdu, and punjabi. At Sotolongo Law, Sugouri practices civil litigation and international arbitration. She greatly appreciates the special protections afforded to Seafarers under U.S. Maritime law. Sugouri is admitted to practice by The Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.
Kai is the firm's Case Coordinator. Kai has many years of experience in working as a case coordinator and has extensive experience in assisting injured crew members. For over 13 years Kai was a seaman himself for a major cruise line. Kai knows the types of injuries that crew members suffer, and his heart is with them.
Kai is a native of Costa Rica and is fluent in both the English and Spanish. He is here for you.

Tiffany Orr-Chambers is a Florida Registered Paralegal with The Florida Bar. A native of Montego Bay, Jamaica, in 2008 she moved to Miami, Florida to pursue her career in law. Tiffany attended Miami Dade College, where she obtained two Associates degrees, with highest honors, in Pre-Law and Paralegal Studies. She has been a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society since 2010 and was recently inducted to the Honors Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
Tiffany joined the team in 2011 as the firm's Paralegal. Since then, Tiffany has assisted many injured clients get the benefits they deserve under the law. Her hard work continues to exemplify the dedication and excellent service Sotolongo Law is recognized for.
Carolina Alvarez joined the team in 2014 as a Legal Assistant. She has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. Since joining the firm, Carolina has been a tremendous asset for our clients. Her ability to care for and understand injured clients and their needs is exceptional. Carolina was born in the U.S. but her parents are from Central America and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
